The Syneron ELOS AC Handpiece ACNE Applicator is a handpiece system that uses light and bi-polar radio frequency energies for treatment of acne. This AC Applicator works with both the eMax and the eLight laser systems. The spot size on this ACNE Applicator by Syneron is 25 x 12 mm. The ELOS AC Applicator handpiece works for the following systems: Aurora, eLight, eMax and the Galaxy. ELOS stands for Electro-optical synergy. 

AC for Acne Treatment

The combined energies of ELOS with the natural photodynamic therapy (400-980-nm spectrum) is combined with RF – enabling the selective targeting of the sebaceous glands and acne bacteria. The addition of RF energy reduces sebaceous gland activity while blue light simultaneously destroys active acne.
