Laser cosmetic insiders expect 2019 to see a spike in the number of laser cosmetic treatments around the globe. According to Harper’s Bazaar, ‘tweakments’ will continue to rise, thanks to new advances in laser cosmetic treatment technologies and the continued popularity of Med Spas.
These technologies, which previously required patients to go under the knife or go through numerous sessions, can now be completed much quicker and with a much shorter recovery time.
“Laser Cosmetic treatments are not the only thing being advanced.” Explains Zac Larson, Laser Resellers Managing Director. “The number of applications for these amazing devices is also increasing sharply.”
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), there were more than 17.7 million cosmetic procedures performed in the U.S. in 2018–nearly a quarter million more than in 2017.
So, it’s no surprise to hear the ASPS dubbed 2018, the “Year of the Body,” and 2019 shows no sign of slowing down.
