The Lumenis LightSheer XC is the workhorse model of the LightSheer family of lasers. It is designed for busy practices and offers the most rapid cover rate compared to the ST and ET models. The laser works by targeting hair follicles that are in a state of active growth, producing a highly concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by targeted hair follicles. The LightSheer can treat larger areas of the body at once.

The ChillTip cools the upper layer of the epidermis effectively during treatment, ensuring treatments remain safe and comfortable for your patients. It works before, during and after each pulse cycle and allows for effective treatment of skin types from I – VI.

The handpiece is designed with a 12 mm square sapphire lens that cools the skin, focuses the laser beam and compresses the skin during treatment which serves to bring hair follicles closer to the light energy being delivered.

The XC is a standalone system and does not come with an optional cart like the ST and ET models. This device comes with a foot pedal and an attached handpiece.
